Quite some time has passed because I was busy with another project and had lost some motivation for this SIPS project. So now that I have some free time I have decided to revaluate this project and have decided to for the meantime continue with just one of the videos for the deadline. This way afterwards I can always revisit this and finish the second video. This will give me enough time to finish one of the videos and make sure that it’s good quality. Creative Conscience have also changed their award deadline to 2027 which can allow me to optimise my outcome for submission into after the DPS year.
Therefore, I have decided to continue with the Water scarcity animation as it was my initial idea and In my opinion the one that can make the most impact. I then went on to create the animatic, I wanted to keep them rough and focus more on the movements portrayed than the design and details of the shots. I played with the timing and pacing, choosing to use that to accentuate the change in situation portrayed in the Animation. I also added some rough dialogue although I think I want to refine the script to be shorter and more to the point.
Next, I want to start creating the backgrounds for the scenes by firstly looking at some inspiration for the design style.
